Berry's Farm
From Rt. 29 travel west on Rt. 230 for one mile. Turn north (right) on Thrift Rd. After one mile there is a stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign. At this point you will now be on Ruth Rd. Travel just under 2 miles and the property will be on the left. An address near the property (across the street) is 6495 Ruth Rd.
If you follow GPS from the north, you will be directed to come a different way. The property is much more difficult to find that way.
Caledon State Park
Caledon is located in King George County between Fairview Beach and Owens, 23 miles east of Fredericksburg on Route 218. From Fredericksburg, take 218 East for 23 miles. Caledon is on the left. Or you may take Rt. 3 east 18 miles to a left onto Rt. 206 for six miles, then turn left onto Rt. 218 and go about one mile; Caledon is on the right. From U.S. 301 (MD), turn right onto Rt. 206 for four miles to Rt. 218, then west about one mile.

From Charlottesville:
Take I-64 East to Route 15. Take Route 15 South to Route 60. Take Route 60 East to Cumberland County. Take a left (North) onto Route 629, this becomes a gravel road. We meet at Winston Lake. This is a right at the bottom of a drainage, it is very easy to miss this turn.
From Richmond:
Take I-64 West to Route 522. Take Route 522 South to Route 60. Take Route 60 West to Cumberland County. Take a right (North) onto Route 629, this becomes a gravel road. We meet at Winston Lake. This is a right at the bottom of a drainage, it is very easy to miss this turn.
NOTE: do NOT take the 629 in Powhatan County!!!! Make sure you are in Cumberland County when you turn onto route 629.
From Northern VA: take Route 29 South to Culpeper and then take either 15 South or 522 South and follow the directions above. I think it is a little quicker to take 522 South to Route 60 but it is very close.

Loop Road Hunt Camp
From Route 340 South: Head north from Elkton on Route 340. Right hand turn on Route 607, Red Brush
Road. Left turn on Route 603, Blose Road. Right turn on Route 609, Naked Creek Road. Left turn on
Route 604, Horseshoe Road/Loop Road. Right turn on Loop Road. Continue for approximately ¼ mile to
gate on the left.
From Route 340 North: Head south from Shenandoah on Route 340. Left hand turn on Route 609,
Naked Creek Road. Left turn on Route 604, Horseshoe Road/Loop. Right turn on Loop Road. Continue
for approximately ¼ mile to gate on the left.
Please note that Loop Road forms a loop and has two entry points off Route 609, Naked Creek Road.
Depending on the mapping system that you use, Loop Road and Horseshoe Road may be shown
interchangeably. The closest address to use for a GPS is 1565 Loop Road. This residence is on the
opposite side of the road and slightly northwest of the entry for the training location.

From the North: US 29 S. Approximately 16 mile S of Culpeper, turn left onto N. Main St. (Business US 29). Madison County Rescue Squad is approximately 150 ft. on left.
From the South: US 29 N. Take left on Fairground Rd., then continue on S. Main St. (Business US 29). Madison County Rescue Squad is approximately 1.3 miles on right.

Mason Neck State Park
Fairfax Joint Training Site—Mason Neck State Park
The park is in southern Fairfax County, about 20 miles from Washington, D.C. Access to the park is via U.S. 1, then five miles east on Route 242 (Gunston Road) to the park entrance.
Its address is 7301 High Point Road, Lorton, VA 22079-4010; Latitude, 38.654365. Longitude, -77.184114.
Drive Time: Northern Virginia, half an hour (park is in Northern Virginia); Washington, D.C., 45 minutes; Tidewater/Norfolk/Virginia Beach, three hours; Richmond, one and a half hours; Roanoke, four hours.
Montpelier (Gilmore Farm)
From Rte 29, Take Rte 15 South into Orange then take Rte 20 West (or South) toward Montpelier. Look for the Train Station on your Left. Once you pass the train station, Gilmore Farm will be about .3 miles (3/10) down Rte 20 on your Right. There is a marker for the little white house.
There is a dirt road turn off into the farm, with a gate (might be dummy locked). We will put out flagging tape too. Turn right onto the farm driveway, and continue straight ahead past the farm. Follow the signs for the re-enactment camp/village. Park along the ridge line at the reenactment camp (it's pretty obvious when you are there).
If you miss Gilmore Farm, you will know you've gone too far if you reach Rte 231.
Prince William Forest Park - Backcountry Lot
From Exit 150 from Interstate 95 to Joplin Road, continue past Park entrance (on right) until intersection of Joplin Road and Breckenridge Road (about 2.4 miles). This intersection will be on the left. Road to the right at this intersection is Liming Lane.
Turn Left on Breckenridge Road. Continue down this road for 1 mile until you reach entrance with gate.
If gate is locked, wait for Op running training to arrive. Parking lot is beyond gate.

Prince William Forest Park - Camps 1 & 4
From I-95
Exit Route 234 N (towards Manassas),
go appx. 2-3 miles.
Park entrance is on the left, shortly past the trailer park. There is a brown PWFP sign before the park entrance so make sure you are entering PWFP and not the trailer park area.
If the gate is open, follow signs towards Camp 1 and 4. Parking is at the water tower and open field on the left just before Camp 1. If the gate is not open then wait at the gate until the park range opens it for us.
Prince William Forest Park - Lot D
From I-95:
Exit 150 West (Joplin Road)
Follow Joplin Road for about a quarter of a mile to park entrance on right. Tell Park Ranger that you are attending Dogs-East training. Go past check in station and take your Left onto Scenic Drive. Continue past Lots A, B, and C, and at the Y intersection, take the right onto Turkey Run Road and follow it you come to Parking Lot D. This is the last lot before the road turns into a One Way Road.

miles to Route 637, take a right. Rappahannock Ridge is on your right about
2 miles down. Sign on gate (it's before you get to Grunkle Farm).
From SOUTH or WEST:
Take Route 522 (North). After the town of Flint Hill, take a right on Route 637--aka Jericho Road. This starts as paved, then turns to gravel and changes name to N. Poes Rd.
From the intersection of Route 522 and 637, travel approximately 5 miles to Gate with sign
"Rappahannock Ridge"...will be on your left just past a nice barn/paddock set-up on your right.

Turn right at the first intersection, ESE on Newbys Shop Road.
After crossing the railroad tracks, it is the first the property on the left (north side) of Newbs Road.

Take I 495 around DC to Exit 22A (Rte 295 - Baltimore/Washington Parkway North).
Go about 20 miles and merge onto Rte 695 E toward Glen Bernie (this is the Baltimore Beltway - outer loop). Go about .5 miles and take exit 6A onto Rte 170 (N. Camp Meade Rd). Go about .4 miles and turn Right onto Baltimore Annapolis Blvd (Rte 648). Go .1 mile and look on your left for the entrance to a landfill. The street address is 6931 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Linthicum, Md. There is a small black and white sign marked K9 Training at a metal gate, which maybe fake-locked. If so, go through and re-fake lock the gate and go up the hill to the gravel area on left and wait. We will all drive back to the disaster office together.

Go about 3/4 mi on Massey road, left turn into the landfill.
The Gate to the K9 Training area is on the left, across from the landfill weigh station. No need to check in with the landfill operators.
Park near the building on the left. Avoid the shooting range area on the right.
Please keep K9s on lead unless working. We are guests of the Spotsylvania police department.
